For all of you who don’t know, Leni Robredo is a Filipino politician, activist, former economist and former human rights lawyer who is running for president of the Philippines. She is currently leading The Pink Revolution. This movement is set to sop the Marcos Dynasty which is being implemented and embellished by her rival candidate, Bongbong Marcos.
Robredo is, as the Philippines put it, “the last woman standing,” because out of the ten candidates running for president, she is the only woman. Unfortunately, voter surveys show Robredo losing and Bongbong winning a landslide victory due to viscous lash-outs from her rival, former party leader Duterte. Duterte was the former president of the Philippines and vice-president until she was kicked out of power due to her outbursts regarding giving further help to the people after the start of Covid-19.
